At Kosmos, we are committed to a virtuous and responsible approach that respects both the environment and people. We apply this approach on a daily basis to reduce our environmental footprint and contribute to the development of our employees.

Our environmental measures

Environmentally-friendly travel

  • To encourage employees to use environmentally-friendly transport, Kosmos covers 50% of bus, streetcar and train fares, and offers a sustainable Mobility allowance for bicycles and scooters. Bicycle parking is also available for secure parking close to the workplace.
  • The office is located in the city center, making it easy for employees in and around Nantes to use public transport. But also for those living further away, thanks to the proximity of the train station, a 5-minute streetcar ride away.
  • For business trips lasting more than 30 minutes, Kosmos favors the train. Cars and planes are only used when no alternative solutions are available.

We give preference to local and French partners selected according to quality and environmental criteria. We currently work with 25 local partners in various sectors (events, lunch services, landscapers, craftsmen, cleaning companies, printers, etc.). )

Supporting children unable to benefit from regular Schooling

Every year for the past 5 years, Kosmos has taken part in an inter-company charity soccer tournament organized by the "Maillot pour Vie" association.Maillot pour la VieMaillot pour la Vie" association, in aid of sick children in France's university hospitals.

Since 2014, Kosmos has made an annual donation to the association "Child@hospital", which enables sick, hospitalized or disabled children to continue their schooling and maintain their emotional, social and cultural life.

Support a local association

Kosmos supports the Nantes-based association Toit à Moian association based in Nantes that provides housing for the homeless. Their mission? To help people living on the margins of society to turn their lives around for the long term, by rehousing them in properties financed by the association's members. In addition, salaried social workers provide long-term support to ensure the reintegration of these people.

Promoting diversity

Gender equality is a long-term commitment for Kosmos. According to the DESI 2020 report, women account for 18% of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) jobs. So, at Kosmos, we pay particular attention to promoting the presence of women in the digital professions as developers, testers and so on. The proportion of women in the company is increasing every year, and currently represents28%.

Trust at the heart of management

  • From the outset, Kosmos has favored a participative management approach, giving its employees as much autonomy, initiative and responsibility as possible.
  • Kosmos favors local management with teams on a human scale, encouraging exchange, listening and participation.
  • Professional interviews and regular individual follow-ups enable us to identify employees' wishes and possibilities for development. By 2022, an average of 10% of the workforce had been entrusted with new responsibilities within the company.

Guaranteeing well-being at work

  • To help our employees achieve a better work-life balance, we have introduced flexible working hours to enable them to manage their Timetables according to their family commitments and personal projects. The company has also made telecommuting a permanent feature of its organization.
  • In-house events (quarterly meetings, parties, tech lunches, breakfasts, etc.) foster a sense of belonging, involvement in corporate strategy and team spirit.
  • The premises have been completely renovated in an industrial style, and a terrace is available to enjoy the sunny days. Showers are available for morning and lunchtime athletes.
  • Baskets of fresh, seasonal fruit are delivered twice a week and are available on a self-service basis, enabling employees to fill up on vitamins.
  • Kosmos' downtown location, close to the train station and public transport, is much appreciated by our teams.
