Campus Condorcet: a new portal for public and connected services
Campus Condorcet chose Kosmos to develop and implement its new public services portal. The Kosmos solutioning teams were able to meet a major schedule challenge (10 months), delivering the new Portal as soon as the campus officially opened.
The Condorcet Campusone of the world's leading research centers in the humanities and social sciences, opened its doors in September 2019, 10 years after the project's inception. Bringing together eleven higher education and research establishments*, it aims to meet the teaching, scientific and digital challenges of the 21st century.
A comprehensive Services Portal tailored to each User Profile: a major challenge for Campus Condorcet
The new Campus Condorcet Services Portal is designed for the general public, the higher education and research community, institutions and the media. On the general public side, visitors will find all the information they need about the campus and its current events. The connected part of the platform provides access to complementary services, and is primarily intended for researchers from the eleven higher education and research establishments.
This new platform, conceived as a single Services portal, integrates a general public section and a connected section. Users living on the Campus can connect to our Portal while retaining a unique identifier via the interface between our authentication platform and the RENATER identity federation. Through the Portal, they can access our applications and all the digital services that the Campus provides on a daily basis: procedures and forms for booking the conference center and meeting rooms, the Directory, IT support procedures and forms, service request forms, etc.

Key points of the project
- A co-design approach involving target users
- A project based on the K-Sup solution, a :
- shared settings for public and private areas,
- integrated with the Campus Condorcet information system, including its identity Repository and various key digital Services,
- enhanced by additional Services: interactive map, notifications, etc.
Kosmos was able to meet the major challenges of the timetable, delivering a quality product on time for the opening of the Campus. We're very pleased with the Portal, from both an aesthetic and a functional/technical point of view. It really matches the image of openness associated with the Condorcet Campus.
